You’re feeling really lazy. What kind of pizza do you order?: I’ve never ordered Pizza in SF. We get a couple slices at Nizario’s (Greco - feta, olives, pesto, garlic, Spinach Pesto, and Nizarios - Salami, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Onions, Bell Peppers, and Sausage) which is on Geary Ave (at 3rd Ave). In Manila we would order a Yellow Cab Pizza.
You feel like cooking. What do you make?: I never feel like cooking, so this would probably be hot chocolate.
Do any foods bring back good memories?: Peking Duck, Inihaw na Baboy with Garlic Rice - time with my friends in Manila.
Do any foods remind you of someone?: Nilaga - my grandmother used to cook a huge pot of this every weekend, Pochero - my favorite cooked by mom

What was your favorite food as a child? Chips Ahoy, Pork chops with Gravy from the school canteen, bread and butter.
Is there a food that you hated as a child but now love? Karekare. The look of it and the fact that it went with smelly bagoong used to gross me out.
Is there a food that you loved as a child but now hate? Adobong Puso ng Saging. I loved it so much I would eat it almost everyday. I reached my lifetime consumption limit I guess.
Favorite fruit & vegetable: Fruit - mangosteen; Vegetable - artichoke, watercress
Favorite junk food: Cheetos, Honey Mustard Pretzels, and Kettle Chips
Favorite between meal snack: Cookies, cereal bar, popcorn
Do you have any weird food habits: I put butter on fried chicken, eat raw bacon, like the “pwet” of the bread, and put sugar on my meat (tapa, spam, corned beef)

How spicy do you order Indian/Thai? Mild to Medium.

It was a belated birthday lunch for my officemate and we went to Osha, a “hip” (don’t you hate that word) Thai restaurant on Valencia Street.
The salads were delicious! and very pretty. It’s a pity J wasn’t there with his camera to take photos.
But my thai food heart still belongs to Thai House Express, home of the heavenly duck larb. I get kilig and do a dance of joy when I see it in front of me.
